Here is an interesting point that I think most Christians in the West need to hear about Galatians 5, especially when interacting with Non-Believers and especially Liberal/Progressives:

"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

1. Love: it doesn't always look like love. It can look to the person on the receiving end as cold, or even as anger. Jesus' love caused him to overturn tables in the Temple.

2. Joy: People may see your joy as arrogance or pride.

3. Peace: Your attempts at making peace do not look as "peaceful" when someone on the Left is bound up tight, ready for war in their hearts.

4. Patience: Practicing patience can look like a refusal to take action. A refusal to make progress. Like you are being obstinant.

5. Kindness: Your practicing kindness may look to them as an false attempt at getting past their defenses.

6. Goodness: Your practicing goodness may appear…
