The Commonwealth of Israel.

What is it?

It is made up of Enemy NATIONS that have historical stood against God and against His people Israel.

In Context both historical, linguistic and using the Apostle Paul's Bible interpretation methods known as, Midrashic Hermeneutics, in Ephesians 2:12, he is interpreting Isaiah 14:14-18:3a.

This is not open to personal interpretation. This is what Paul actually did. The entirety of Ephesians is his interpretation of Isaiah in section order from the beginning of Isaiah to the end.

What is Paul's conclusion? Why did he use the word translated as, Commonwealth?

A Commonwealth is an alliance of Countries, Nations, who have submitted themselves to a single mutual purpose, under the leadership of a single King. Thus Jesus is King of kings in the Commonwealth.

Paul gives it a name, The Commonwealth of Israel.
