How The Pagans Stole Christmas and Easter

Are you concerned that Christmas is pagan? And that Easter is Pagan?

I would say, after many years of looking into the truth about December 25th, that pagans copied Jewish Christian's and co-opted the day. Before the Gregorian Calendar, there was the Julian Calendar. All those pagan holidays were earlier in the month, by 12 days. December 25 stood alone as a Jewish/Christian day to honor the Jewish Jesus' birth. The tradition at the time was to honor the birth of a significant Jewish personage exactly nine months prior to his death, regardless of whether or not it was his real birthday. Which means we know the exact day of Jesus' crucifixion: March 25 in the Julian calendar. Add 12 days to get the modern day.

The first documented observance of this in recorded history was in about 150 AD, at a church in North Africa.

Now, about pagan traditions: yes, after the Catholic Church was instituted, they started adding in pagan traditions, but these started being recorded as happening after 400 AD or thereabouts.

So, observing the day is Jewish-Christian, not pagan. It came after the establishment of the Catholic Church.
