Grafted In, But Not Jewish [Israel means Israel, Period. Part 5]
"Tov Rose has written a resource so thorough that Bible students, ministry leaders, and every believer in Yeshua seeking to understand the unity of both the Hebrew and Apostolic Scriptures, will want a copy in their library.
In our own day, much scholarship, and certainly pulpit ministries, have moved away from advancing the truth that Yahweh’s people must understand how both Testament’s speak His revelation. The result is a rise in what I describe as abhorrent theologies that attempt to negate and reject outright Yahweh’s people Israel, argue against a literal realized eschatology where King Jesus reigns, and a misunderstanding of the role we must play as believers in these days. Tov’s book provides the biblical basis as well as the intellectual weaponry to right these wrongs."

“Update #103 When Hope Hangs by a Thread
July 7, 2025
A father sits at his kitchen table at 2 AM, staring at a stack of bills that might as well be mountains. The electricity notice—$236.79—glows under the dim light. The car insurance demand—$300, $300 in overdraft fees, a new $320 bill coming due tomorrow. Together with other past-due bills, they total $1000. But it's not the numbers that keep Tov Rose awake. It's the sound of his daughter's labored breathing from down the hall as she cries into her pillow.
His girl is fighting an invisible enemy—Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, triggered by mold lurking in the walls of their apartment, in the old carpet, and in the air vents. Every day, her body wages war against toxins that healthy people never face. After months of searching, they finally found a doctor who understands her condition in March 2025. The treatments she desperately needs? $1,000 every month. Over two years, her path to healing will cost $400,000.
Meanwhile, their bank account tells a different story. A $1,000 overdraft—the maximum allowed—sits like a weight on Tov's chest. Their monthly survival budget? Just $6,000 to cover everything: rent, food, medical trips for her daughter's other needs, and hope.
Since February, Tov has knocked on 600 doors—not literally, but through job applications that led nowhere. Each rejection felt like another step away from his daughter's healing. Yet this father refuses to surrender. He's rebuilding his company, C2R Marketing, LLC, pivoting toward lead generation services. Between prayers and planning, he's reaching out to businesses, seeking investors, and chasing every opportunity that might open a door.
"Every gift feels like a miracle," Tov whispers, his voice thick with exhaustion and faith, and he's not afraid to share it—tears. "I know God works through His people. Every time someone gives it's a step closer to my girl's healing. I wish you could hear my wife praise and thank the Lord and pray for each person with every gift given!"
This morning, the Rose family sits in the space between crisis and breakthrough. The lights might go out. The car might sit silent. But a father's love burns brighter than any bill collector's threat.
Your heart can change their story.
Here's what your compassion can accomplish:
• $25 keeps their lights on for another day—literally
• $100 chips away at the mountain of debt crushing their hope
• $660 silences the past-due notices and lets them breathe again
• $1,000 erases the overdraft and gives them solid ground to stand on
Right now, they need $2,860 to step back from the edge—to clear the past-due bills and settle the overdraft that's strangling their finances.
When you give $25 or more today, you'll receive Tov's heartfelt book, *Jesus: The God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob*—a powerful exploration of faith's roots that will enrich your own spiritual journey. But more than that, you'll receive something priceless: the knowledge that you helped a girl fight for her life and a father keep his promise to never give up.
Every dollar you give moves them closer to stability, closer to healing, and closer to hope.
Will you reach across the darkness and take their hand?

Grafted In, But Not JewishThis is exactly right.
Picture this: A really good dad makes a promise to his child. Not just any promise—a blood covenant, sealed with his own life. Then imagine someone saying, "Well, if he broke his promise to that child, he could break his promise to you too."
That's exactly what's at stake when we suggest God "replaced" Israel with the Church.
Here's the beautiful truth that changes everything: In Hebrews 6:13-20, we see God's unbreakable methodology. "When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, 'I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.' And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised."
God didn't just make a casual promise—He bound Himself with an oath. Why? "Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged."
The Enemy's ancient strategy was to make us question God's faithfulness. He whispered to Eve, "Did God really say...?" (Genesis 3:1). He wants us to believe God's promises are transferable, revocable, conditional. But Abraham's covenant—and by extension, Israel's eternal covenants—are anchored in God's very character.
When Paul warned the Romans about being "cut off," he wasn't celebrating Israel's replacement. "If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches... Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either" (Romans 11:17-21). He was warning Gentile believers against the deadly sin of pride—the very sin that made Adam think he could take God's place.
That's why Paul repeatedly reminded the Gentile Churches that they are baptized into Jesus's baptism, who is himself the Second Adam. "So it is written: 'The first man Adam became a living being'; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit" (1 Corinthians 15:45). "Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?" (Romans 6:3). Second meaning he replaced the first and removed the authority the First Adam gave to Satan over all of creation. "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work" (1 John 3:8).
He also repeatedly reminded them that they were adopted into Abraham, not Israel. "Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham" (Galatians 3:7). "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise" (Galatians 3:29). "But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son... to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship" (Galatians 4:4-5).
This isn't just theology. This is hope. If God keeps His promises to Israel despite their failures, He'll keep His promises to you despite yours. "God's gifts and his call are irrevocable" (Romans 11:29).

God's Eternal Covenants with Israel - $9.99
Pay with Affirm on orders over $35 or in 4 payments of $2.50
The Bible is filled with many different kinds of Covenants. Some are Eternal. Others are not.
Despite popular teaching to the contrary, God has made Eternal Covenants even with Israel. Despite Israel's failure to follow the Covenant at Sinai, there are other Covenants that Israel can never break, and are therefore still in place today.
Those Eternal Covenants and why they can never be broken. Not Ever.

Part 1:
ISRAEL MEANS ISRAEL. PERIOD.
"Tov Rose has written a resource so thorough that Bible students, ministry leaders, and every believer in Yeshua seeking to understand the unity of both the Hebrew and Apostolic Scriptures, will want a copy in their library.
Part 2: The Church is NOT Israel:
Let's take this a step futher: over on X @B_A_Purtle suggested this discussion:
This is very simple, actually. If the Church is Israel and Israel is the Church, please answer my parenthetical questions:
"...all Israel (a mostly Gentile Church?) will be saved, as it is written,
'The Deliverer will come from Zion,
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob' (A mostly Gentile Church?);
'and this will be my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.'
As regards the gospel, they (A mostly Gentile Church?) are enemies for your sake (Oh, if Israel/Jacob/They means a mostly Gentile Church, who is "your"?). But as regards election, they (A mostly Gentile Church?) are beloved for the sake of their forefathers (Forefathers, as in Origen and Augustine?). For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."
Rather facetious questions, I know. But it's exegetically nonsensical to say that "the Church is the new Israel" in light of Paul's language. Rather, the flow of this whole section of Romans is clear -- Israel, the Jews, Paul's kinsmen according to the flesh, Jacob, enemies of the gospel/beloved for the sake of the fathers... These are all ways of referring to the Jewish people, upon whom a partial hardening has come, but whom "God has the power to graft in again." And He will.
No wonder Jonathan Edwards wrote, "Nothing is more certainly foretold than this national conversion of the Jews in Romans 11."
