1,050 New Testament Commands

There are 1,050 commands in the New Testament for true followers of Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus) to obey. Due to repetitions we can classify them under 69 headings. They cover every phase of a persons life in his relationship to God and fellowmen, now and hereafter. 

There are several groups out there in both the Hebrew Roots and Messianic circles that are teaching in error that the "New Covenant" is a renewal of the Law of Moses. I deal with this heresy in this article.

The New Covenant was Gods plan from the beginning. The Old was designed to prepare people to see their need and accept the New. The old was conditional and based on the obedience of those bound by it, the New is unconditional. The Old forced the worshiper to see that they could not keep Gods laws and that they owed God a death for their sins. The New declares our debt paid by Jesus the Messiah through faith, not works, canceling our debt.
